Patterns

To determine a winner, the organizer gives a specific game pattern that the players should cross out depending on the balls that were drew. So before they keep the ball rolling, the announcer will declare the specific game pattern that they will play.

Bingo games are played out in many patterns, the most basic being a straight line in any direction: vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Other patterns include the four corners of the bingo board, or shapes such as the letter T.

For the major prizes, some organizers would require a black-out system, meaning that all the numbers on the bingo card should be crossed out. Though it takes a long before a winner is proclaimed, still, the long wait is worth all the fun and excitement.
